Junior Knight (Micah Balfour) is out to make lover Cindy Beale’s (Michelle Collins) jealous in EastEnders next week after her engagement to Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt).
Following the reappearance of Cindy’s ex David Wicks (Michael French) in Walford last week, an insecure Ian sought to solidify his relationship with her – unbeknown that she’s currently having an affair with former stepson Junior.
After months of sneaking around behind their families’ backs, Cindy and Junior hit a rough patch when Cindy crosses paths with David, rekindling memories of their affair from 27 years ago, leaving Junior hurt.
In next week’s episodes, Junior tries to reconnect with Cindy following her engagement, but she ignores his calls.
Frustrated, Junior heads to Beale’s Eels to confront Cindy, but she firmly insists their affair is over and tells him to leave.
Later, Junior loses his temper with Peter Beale (Thomas Law) for going on about his parents’ engagement. In an attempt to distract himself, he visits the café and invites Priya Nandra-Hart (Sophie Khan-Levy) out for a drink.
At The Vic, Cindy grows uneasy watching Ian and Junior chatting, realizing Junior is determined to stir trouble.
However, his attempts to rile Cindy don’t go to plan when Priya abruptly ends her drinks with Junior after realising he isn’t interested, as a vindicated Cindy watches on.
Junior then ups the ante and invites Peter for a drink as Cindy decides to join them – but things soon take a turn for the worse…
