Lauren Bolton from Coronation Street is in jeopardy because the troublesome youngster has a run-in with the law.

In upcoming scenes, Cait Fitton’s character Lauren Bolton from Coronation Street is expected to be arrested.

According to official ITV soap opera spoilers, she runs into legal difficulty as her resentment of Max Turner (Paddy Bever) grows increasingly sour.

Next week’s episodes will feature David Platt (Jack P. Shepherd) watching Max get ready for his first day of college.

Max tells Lauren he’ll be in college all day out of respect for her sentiments, but in reality, he’s going to meet Sabrina (Luana Santos) at the precinct.

Lauren, who is disappointed by his deceit, is observing them both from a distance.

When Sabrina leaves, Max is pushed to stop playing pranks on her and ask her out because it’s obvious they like each other.

Lauren tries to get Sabrina worked up by saying that she and Max are dating back at the cafe, even though Max subsequently assures her that’s not the case.

Later, when Lauren is by herself and her jealousy has taken over, she explodes in a fit of wrath and destroys the salon.

David opens the door and sees the place Lauren has trashed as he informs Max he can begin an apprenticeship at the hair salon because he won’t attend college.

Max and Lauren attempt to tidy up the salon while Lauren stands in horror at the state of the place.

Max orders her to go and vows to defend her, but when David and Maria Connor (Samia Longchambon) notice the damaged mirror, they start to press for explanations.

Lauren apologizes to Roy Cropper (David Neilson) for skipping her work when she returns to the cafe.

A police officer soon interrupts their chat, however, and says that Lauren is being detained on suspicion of inflicting criminal damage.

Is Lauren going to jail for her outburst? Or are the Platts attempting to discipline Lauren by teaching her a lesson?

Actress Cait Fitton told Express.co.uk earlier this year: “I believe Max and Lauren have unfinished business. There has been and always will be.

“There will always be love there, always be feelings there because they share the same trauma.”
