Melanie Pearson, who plays Terese Willis on Neighbours, will be a tough opponent for Terese Willis as she makes a hefty offer to Glen Donnelly.

Melanie (Lucinda Cowden) will observe Glen’s frantic behavior after Terese (Rebekah Elmaloglou) discovers her missing wedding ring, which was discovered by Glen (Richard Huggett) back on the beach in Queensland, in scenes airing later in January.

Glen kept the ring hidden to keep Terese and her estranged husband – and his half-brother – Paul Robinson (Stefan Dennis) away, but his secrecy will be threatened this week by Harlow Robinson (Jemma Donovan).

Glen’s guilt will be heightened when Melanie begins to ask inquiries, but he will deny to Melanie that he has any feelings for Terese.

Melanie, on the other hand, isn’t convinced, and she’s growing increasingly skeptical of Terese and Glen’s growing relationship.

Glen is taken aback the next day when Terese offers him a room at her house and asks him to be her sober companion.

When Melanie learns Terese’s offer, she firmly advises Glen to decline because he clearly has feelings for her, and moving in with her will just confuse things further.

But will Glen heed Melanie’s words, or will he take the plunge and get even closer to Terese?

It’s unclear whether Terese and Glen will wind updating, but actress Rebekah Elmaloglou previously told Digital Spy that the two had a lot in common, including their similar alcohol problem.

She hinted, “It would certainly mess things up [if the two characters met], which would be great to play.”

Is Terese and Paul’s marriage, however, truly over? Terese is still “very angry” with Paul over everything that has happened, according to the actress.

“Over their relationship, they have developed deep feelings for each other so when Paul does something that hurts her, she really feels it,” she explained.
