Fans of EastEnders have been puzzling over who the murder victim on Christmas Day would be and which of the six ladies hinted at in the flashforward will commit a murder this holiday season.

After it was revealed a man will be killed this Christmas, it was determined that EastEnders veteran Stacey Slater (played by Lacey Turner) was most likely to deliver the deadly blow.

An EastEnders episode from February featured a unique flash-forward scenario to Christmas Day 2023.

Six of Walford’s ladies were assembled in The Vic for the first time in history, and they watched in horror as Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean) knelt down to try to find a pulse on an unidentified victim before declaring: “He’s dead.”

Five months later, viewers still don’t know who dies or who the murderer is.

However, further proof implicates Stacey, a Walford favourite, as the murderer.

Since the BBC soap broadcast the episode, theories have been circulating, but analysts from OLBG have identified the most likely culprits, with Stacey the current favourite to be the murderer.

Stacey has been identified as having a 3/1 chance and a 25% probability of committing the awful crime.

Although any of the ladies may be responsible for the murder, EastEnders producers are keeping viewers on the edge by including Denise Fox (Diane Parish), Linda Carter (Kellie Bright), Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal), Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth), and Sharon in the mix.

Stacey’s closest rival Denise is the second favourite, with odds of 7/2 and a 22% likelihood that she is the guilty party.

Linda, Sharon, and Suki are tied for third place in the market, with chances of 4/1 and a 20% likelihood that they are the murderer.

Kathy has been designated as having a 5/1 chance and a 16.7% probability of becoming a killer, making her the least likely candidate.

With many fans ‘figuring out’ that Theo Hawthorne (William Ellis) is the dead man on the floor, recent guesses about the victim would line up with Stacey being the murderer.

Creepy Stacey has no idea that Theo is her obsessive “online fan” who has recently become more and more nasty because he has been befriending her while also following her.

Stacey might actually be the one who decides to murder someone this Christmas.
