The actor who portrays Daniel Osbourne has become a regular on the ITV serial, appearing in numerous of the show’s most important storylines in recent years.

Could the 29-year-old, on the other hand, be pondering a career change?

On a recent edition of The Vanity Project, a new podcast produced by London drag queen Vanity von Glow, Rob discussed the potential for gay actors.

Vanity suggested porn, asking Rob: ‘You’re not thinking of moving in that direction are you?’

‘I’m not sure,’ Rob said. ‘Every time I see how much money Kerry Katona makes, I think to myself, ‘Maybe it’s not so bad!’

If fans of Corrie are frightened that he’s about to leave Weatherfield for OnlyFans, he swiftly clarifies that he’s joking.

Rob, 29, also talked about the actresses he admires, saying that women are “naturally better” performers than men.

He stated, “I believe women are innately greater performers than males.” ‘I used to be completely enamored of Meryl Streep. She’s simply amazing.

‘She said something that stuck with me: women are better at acting than men because they have to be evolutionarily.’ Convincing someone who is much bigger and stronger than you of something they don’t want to hear is a survival skill that women have.’

The soap star also revealed why he enjoys the hectic schedule of long days filming and then learning lines.

He went on to say, ‘It keeps your mind sharp.’ ‘Bill Roache, now 89, believes that having to memorize lines on a regular basis is one of the best ways to keep your mind fresh.’ On the other hand, because of the volume, after you’ve filmed it, you forget about it.’
