Sarah Platt from Coronation Street is beginning to have doubts about her uncle Stephen Reid after he tampered with her paternity tests, according to an exclusive report.
The Canadian businessman Stephen Reid (Todd Boyce), from Coronation Street, has been on a murderous rampage ever since he came in Weatherfield last year.
Despite his lies and machinations being discovered, after escaping with murder three times, he turned his attention to his fiancée Elaine Jones (Paula Wilcox).
Following the falsified paternity test results for his niece Sarah Platt (Tina O’Brien), his family is beginning to see a different side to him.
Tina described how Sarah’s perception of Stephen has changed as a result of Stephen’s intervention in an exclusive interview with Express.co.uk and other media outlets.
Sarah responded, “I think it’s definitely sown a little scene of something,” when asked if his fabricating the paternity results raised suspicions in her.
“I think she has so many problems of her own right now, but she’s like, ‘What?!’ at the same time,” the author says.
She was horrified by what he had done because of how callous he was about it. That probably caused her to exclaim, “Oh my gosh, you’re pretty merciless and brutal.
The actress said that her opinion of Stephen has been slightly tarnished by the fact that he has continued to support Sarah.
She continued, mentioning his deceit and interference: “I think that’s been packed up, she’s not really going there with it right now.
She currently has far too many issues of her own. However, I don’t know if it will be something that activates something later.
He has always supported her and taken good care of her. That time, he was the one who drove her to Milan.
Sarah feels as though she is a little bit blinded by how kind he has been to her, even though other people may see a different side of him.
If Sarah’s suspicions intensify, may ITV viewers ultimately prove to be the cause of his downfall? Or will he use her as his newest victim in order to conceal his lies?
Iain MacLeod, the head of Coronation, said earlier this year that Stephen will pay for the crimes he committed.
When questioned on Loose Women if justice will be visible in the cobblestones, he responded, “Of course he is. In a soap opera, the villains almost always end up getting what’s coming to them.
“So, sure, without a doubt. Between now and then, there will be plenty of fun to be had.
