Scott Mitchell, the widower of EastEnders actress Barbara Windsor, was spotted out on a date with Tanya Franks.
In July of this year, Scott and Tanya’s relationship was officially announced. It occurs three years after Barbara passed away in 2020, three years after being identified as having Alzheimer’s disease in 2014.
Since Barbara’s passing, Scott has continued to spread awareness for the illness and frequently speaks about his time while married to the Peggy Mitchell and Carry On actress, even admitting how Barbara frequently received visits from the late singer Amy Winehouse.
Tanya, 55, who is well known for her role as Rainie Cross in the BBC One serial opera, recently traveled to Greece with Scott, 60.
“Life feels really good right now, and we are enjoying some special time together,” Scott remarked to The Sun at the time.
According to a person close to Barbara’s friends and family, they are pleased that Scott has found love once more.
After deciding to move in together, the pair was pictured out, and now it appears that love is most definitely in the air as Scott and Tanya have been spotted having a great time on a date night.
Scott was seen putting his arm around Tanya shortly before they left for home at the same eatery that he and Barbara frequently frequented.
Tanya and Scott matched each other’s clothes by donning black, with Tanya adding a splash of color with her red bag and orange shoes.
The EastEnders actress quit her job as Rainie last year after she and husband Stuart Highway (Ricky Champ) reconciled. Roland, who is Bernie’s (Clair Norris) biological son, and she decided to start a new life somewhere.
