Penny Branning is in for a shocking revelation about Harry Mitchell in upcoming EastEnders episodes, just as he turns against her.

Played by Kitty Castledine and Elijah Holloway, the two characters have grown closer since Harry arrived last summer. Recently, they joined forces in a scheme to blackmail Penny’s father, Jack (Scott Maslen).

In the yet-to-be-aired scenes, Jack uses his police resources to investigate the disappearance of Harry’s girlfriend, Shireen. Penny warns Harry, but he demands that she get Jack to back off or he’ll reveal her role in their plot against him.

To regain control, Penny persuades Jack to allow her to meet Shireen’s friend, Felicity, to try to steer her away. However, Felicity’s account of Shireen’s disappearance leaves Penny deeply unsettled.

Later, the police arrive to arrest Harry, with Jack and Penny observing the scene. But before he’s taken away, Harry’s mother, Nicola Mitchell (Laura Doddington), shows up to confront Penny and demand answers about her role in the arrest.

Under pressure, Jack presses Penny to reveal what she told the Mitchells. Meanwhile, Harry, furious after his arrest, confronts Jack with some hard truths about Penny.

Penny’s motivation for blackmailing her father stems from his betrayal involving Chelsea and the club scandal. Meanwhile, Jack’s ordeal has turned more sinister, as he remains unaware of who’s behind it and is increasingly vulnerable as the situation spirals.

Harry further manipulates Jack by ordering him to retrieve a stolen car, threatening to ruin Jack’s career and send him to prison with damning video evidence if he refuses. Just as Jack completes the task, Harry secretly photographs him, adding more tension.

How will this gripping storyline reach its climax?
