TV host Stacey Solomon recently made an unexpected guest appearance in an episode of Emmerdale, and she posted her excitement on Instagram.
The Loose Women panelist was ecstatic when Lydia and Sam Dingle (Karen Blick and James Hooton) mentioned Stacey’s name in the scene, which aired on Monday, August 21.
Sam remarked that the hens preferred his manicure before out loudly speculating as to what they would think of a pedicure as Lydia entered the Dingle cottage carrying a bundle of eggs, indicating that there were four more than the day before.
Sam mentioned it might be tax deductible, but Lydia shot back that they’d go bankrupt if he got a pedicure every week on top of everything else.
That would only work for someone like Stacey Solomon, Lydia observed with amusement.
Soon after, a viewer of Emmerdale called Stacey’s attention to the incident, saying, “When you’re watching Emmerdale and Stacey Solomon gets a mention.”
Stacey shared the footage to her Instagram stories, where she said that being mentioned in the ITV soap was a life ambition she had been working toward.
“OMG, why am I so happy about this? I still can’t believe I got on Emmerdale. AIM FOR LIFE.
Stacey was mentioned in a recent plot that saw a someone from Lydia’s past reappear in her life.
Lydia was astonished to run across Craig, who she had shared a home with while hunting for a new job to support her family.
Toby’s father, Craig, was shortly revealed by her, despite the fact that he was unaware of his existence.
When Lydia finally told Craig the truth, the information devastated him.
