In the upcoming episode of Coronation Street, Dom Everett starts to reveal his true colors, and an ITV spoiler suggests that he might be set to sue Stu Carpenter for everything he has.
Since Eliza Woodrow’s father Dom Everett (Darren Morfitt) and grandfather Stu Carpenter’s granddaughter Savannah Kunyo (Bill Fellows) established contact, Stu Carpenter (played by Bill Fellows) has suffered on Coronation Street.
Since November of last year, the child has lived with her grandfather and his companion, Yasmeen Metcalfe (Shelly King), after her mother, Bridget Woodrow (Beth Vyse), Stu’s daughter, was convicted of murder and sentenced to prison.
She has been meeting up with Dom recently against Stu’s desires, and according to ITV’s teasers for the episodes airing the next week, Stu could lose everything as a result of her relationship with her father.
When Stu saw Eliza had been lying about where she was and overheard a chat between the two, he first learnt about Dom.
Dom admitted that he only wanted to reconnect with his daughter after not seeing her since she was a newborn after Stu confronted him.
Stu felt compelled to inform his daughter about their secret meetings, and when she became enraged and begged her father to keep Dom away from Eliza, the child became hostile toward Stu and Dom became enraged.
When Yasmeen informs him that her grandson Zeedan Nazir (Qasim Akhtar) intends to take her to Pakistan for her 70th birthday, his week, still plagued by the situation, starts off poorly.
She adamantly asserts that she doesn’t want to leave him when he is under such stress due to the circumstances with Dom and Eliza.
However, he gently insists that she must go because he can’t let her miss the once-in-a-lifetime vacation.
He tries to handle the problem on his own without Yasmeen’s assistance, but Dom is one step ahead of him.
He advises that Stu and his attorney Dee-Dee Bailey (Channique Sterling-Brown) forego the court case and reach a settlement.
Stu declines the offer and tells Dom he’ll see him in court because he’s determined to act in his granddaughter’s best interests. Dom reassures Stu that he only wants what’s best for Eliza and a chance to get to know his little girl and be a better Dad, but this leaves Stu torn.
He and Eliza arrange to meet Dom in the precinct, and when they arrive, Dom suggests getting ice cream but claims he lost his wallet. Dom’s ears perk up as he appears to spot an opportunity as Eliza assures him that Stu will pay because he’s loaded.
Is he honest when he says he wants to be Eliza’s father or will he take Stu for everything he has?
