A FIGURE from Charity Dingle’s history makes a comeback, and Moira Dingle is set to visit Adam Barton in the upcoming episodes of Emmerdale. In the scenes ahead on the ITV soap, Cain will have to confront his greatest fear as he comes to terms with the possibility of losing Moira.
Despite their worries, Matty and Moira are determined to proceed with their plan to visit Adam Barton, much to Cain’s surprise when they inform him. Cain finds it difficult to accept the idea of Moira leaving. As they share a moment of comfort, both are acutely aware that this could serve as a dry run for a more permanent goodbye. Adam first joined Emmerdale in 2009 but departed in 2018 after admitting to the murder of Emma Barton.
At that time, Adam informed the police that he killed Emma to protect his mother, Moira Dingle, from imprisonment. Emma met her end after falling from a viaduct in 2017, but it was eventually revealed that Moira had actually pushed her. Adam’s departure storyline was quite dramatic, featuring Aaron and Cain orchestrating his escape from a prison van. Since then, he has been living abroad, but his name has come up multiple times in the soap.
Meanwhile, Charity receives an unexpected shock when a figure from her past reappears in the Dales. Additionally, Chas extends an invitation to both Liam and Ella for a Halloween celebration at the pub, but Liam finds it difficult to conceal his feelings for her.
Paddy has delayed sacking Ella but she’s picking up on his strange behaviour.
Liam awkwardly confesses his feelings for Chas and she reciprocates and they end up kissing.
Liam prepares to break up with Ella.
But will it go to plan?
Also in Emmerdale, Gail is frustrated with Ryan and unravels her woes to Mary and Bob and is soon roped into joining the book club.
