Betsy Swain is set to face a brutal attack by thugs in Coronation Street, and it’s all due to Mason Radcliffe’s actions.
The dangerous storyline involving the ITV teenagers will have serious consequences for the residents of Weatherfield. When Mason’s siblings are released from police custody without charge, he is pushed back into a perilous situation.
Betsy advises Mason to lie to his brothers, telling them it was Tim Metcalfe who tipped off the police, making him the real “grass.” As the two chat and flirt on the street, Mason’s brother Matty arrives, immediately breaking the tension and attempting to intimidate them.
Later, Sally and Tim return home to find the word ‘grass’ spray-painted on their front door, leaving Sally terrified. Tim reassures her, but the danger escalates when Betsy and Mason spot Logan climbing into Tim’s taxi. Fearing for Tim’s safety, they warn Eileen about the potential threat.
While in the cab, Logan orders Tim to stop, and Matty joins him, making it clear they want to “teach him a lesson” for reporting them to the authorities. But the thugs aren’t done—they will continue their violent spree.
In a shocking turn, they corner Betsy in an alleyway near the Weatherfield Precinct. After sending an urgent message to her mother, Betsy is threatened, and her phone is stolen. The attack leaves Betsy devastated, and her mother, Lisa, is horrified when she realizes she missed her daughter’s distress message.
