Felicity (Jacqui Purvis) and Tane (Ethan Browne) find comfort in one another this week on Home and Away as they recuperate from the ordeal Anne (Megan Smart) put them through after the chemical assault. Felicity, however, ends up having the wrong impression when Tane pulls away when she tries to kiss him, making her feel ashamed. Do they no longer have a chance to reestablish their friendship?
As Chloe’s (Sam Barrett) biological father Matthew (James Sweeny) arrives in the Bay and demands to see his daughter, Mia (Anna Samson) is outraged and terrified. Ari (Rob Kipa-Williams) becomes skeptical of Mia as a result of her increasingly shady behavior, and he won’t leave until something is resolved. When Matthew hears Irene (Lynne McGranger) chatting to Chloe just as they’ve come to an agreement, he realizes his daughter is standing directly in front of him.
Bella (Courtney Miller) is working hard at her new job in Salt, but she keeps making mistakes. For example, she frequently drops food, gives clients the wrong order, and serves alcohol at the bar without the proper training. Dean (Patrick O’Connor), who has observed how miserable she appears, believes she would be relieved to learn she has been fired; nevertheless, his strategy backfires when he tells her the news and she sobs.
Felicity is humiliated when Tane rejects her kiss
In the aftermath of the chemical assault, Tane and Felicity find their way to one another and end up walking together. They fall asleep in each other’s arms as Tane gets ready to depart and Felicity pleads if he may stay simply to keep her company. When he sees them together, Cash is not impressed and tells Tane to stop. Later, Tane promises Felicity that he would always be there for her. However, Felicity misinterprets his message and kisses him, which causes Tane to back away. Felicity, humiliated, escapes.

Mia is surprised and quickly finds an excuse to slip into Salt to avoid being seen by Matthew. However, how long can she keep this a secret from Ari and, more importantly, Chloe?

Concerned about the repercussions of firing her flatmate, Mac gladly turns the position over to Dean.
