Alyvia Alyn Lind hasn’t played Faith Newman on The Young and the Restless in a while because she currently appears in the Chucky series with a murderous doll. But that is not the only accomplishment she has to be proud of.
Happy Birthday, Alyvia Alyn Lind
And the reason for that is that this outstanding young actress is turning 16 today. She was born on July 27, 2007, in North Carolina. When Lind was just 3 years old, she earned the role of Faith on The Young and the Restless.
In the science fiction horror movie Dark Skies, with Keri Russell and Josh Hamilton, she made her feature film debut two years later. Between 2012 to 2015, Lind played the young Amanda Clarke (played by actress Emily VanCamp) in a recurrent role on the ABC drama Revenge.
In addition to these, Lind has appeared in films like Blended, An American Girl Story – Maryellen 1955: Extraordinary Christmas, and Overboard. She has also appeared in recurring roles on Transparent, See Dad Run, and Masters of Sex, as well as guest roles on NCIS, Teachers, and 9-1-1.
Twice, Lind has played a youthful Dolly Parton. Initially in the NBC television spectacular Dolly Parton’s Coat of Many Colors from 2015, and once more in the follow-up movie Dolly Parton’s Christmas of Many Colors: Circle of Love from 2016.
She is the youngest child of director/producer John Lind and Barbara Alyn Woods, an actress best known for her work on One Tree Hill, Eden, and Honey, I Shrunk the Kids. Natalie Alyn and Emily Alyn, Lind’s sisters, are both performing arts professionals.
