In order to support his mother Linda Carter, Johnny Carter is returning to EastEnders, but a new actor will be playing the part; Charlie Suff will replace Sam Strike and Ted Reilly.
Charlie Suff will replace Johnny Carter as the new face in the EastEnders role as he returns to the show. He’s coming back to support his mother Linda.
Charlie Suff is thrilled to be returning to Walford as Johnny Carter. Charlie is the actor portraying the character after others have done so in the past.
Charlie stated: “Johnny returned to Walford after learning from his grandmother that Linda’s situation wasn’t ideal. The family needs Johnny back home to steady the ship and get things back on track because there is a lot of concern about his mother. Plenty is happening! He is completely heartbroken.”
He added, “It’s too much of a shock for him to comprehend the implications of Linda’s situation right away. Since Linda has undergone significant change since Johnny’s last visit, he spends his first moments in the Square attempting to make sense of what is happening with her.”
However, Johnny’s return is more difficult when he learns that Dean Wicks has returned.
“He is enraged and completely taken aback. Up in Manchester, he had moved past the Dean situation and believed it was resolved. I don’t think he anticipates Linda having to deal with Dean and the events that are still playing out. “It’s going to be tense; he’ll do anything to keep his mother safe, especially from Dean,” he revealed.
Where you know Charlie Suff from?
Charlie Suff has appeared in two well-known ITV dramas in the past: Grantchester and Grace. His parts in the short films The Other Soul to Evie and Never Has a Man may also be familiar to you.
Charlie will make his soap opera debut in EastEnders. As he considered his experience thus far, he remarked, “The warmest. Right away, it has been such a joy. Everyone is extremely entertaining, amiable, and skilled at what they do. I was immediately taken in by the family and felt very at ease with everyone. I adore it.
“There are a lot of people that Johnny hasn’t seen in a long time—some he’s really happy to see, and some he isn’t,” Charlie joked. I believe Johnny is making a big comeback, wanting to prove to the residents of Walford that he is an adult and should not be trifled with.”
