There’s disappointing news for Emmerdale fans today as the Yorkshire soap has been removed from its regular ITV slot tonight due to a schedule reshuffle.
Instead of the usual trip to the Dales, viewers will be watching the UEFA Nations League match between Greece and England, with coverage starting at 7 pm.
Emmerdale will resume its normal broadcast tomorrow evening at 7:30 pm.
It’s been an eventful week on the soap, with the big reveal of Vinny Dingle’s (Bradley Johnson) real parentage.
After Tina Dingle’s (Samantha Power) attempt to blackmail Mandy Dingle (Lisa Riley) for keeping quiet about Vinny’s mother failed, Tina confessed the truth to Vinny, causing him to cut ties with Mandy over her deception.
The situation escalated when Tina accepted a significant pay-out from Vinny to leave the village, only to discover she had been double-crossed. She then shocked everyone by revealing that she needed the money for her other children—but was she being honest?
Meanwhile, Eric Pollard (Chris Chittell) caused a scene by taking one of Caleb Miligan’s (William Ash) trucks and crashing it, damaging some of Caleb’s goods.
In upcoming episodes, Paddy Kirk (Dominic Brunt) faces a dilemma when Tom King (James Chase) threatens to expose secrets about the vet practice unless he’s rehired. Will Paddy cave to Tom’s demands or risk facing his retaliation?
