The following article contains spoilers for an upcoming episode of EastEnders, which has not yet aired on BBC One but is available on BBC iPlayer.

Reiss Colwell (Jonny Freeman) resorts to extreme measures once again in tonight’s EastEnders episode, with the shocking possibility that he has killed Bianca Jackson (Patsy Palmer).

Bianca has long suspected that Reiss was responsible for Debbie’s death and not Sonia Fowler (Natalie Cassidy). However, with many still believing his innocence, she has been stuck in a frustrating waiting game.

After uncovering some CCTV footage, Bianca became determined to extract the truth from Reiss. She confronted him, playing on his guilt and Sonia’s imprisonment, eventually forcing him to admit the crime. Horrified by his confession, Bianca rushed to the kitchen to call the police.

But Reiss wasn’t ready to let his secret come out so easily. He quickly knocked Bianca’s phone from her hand, giving him the chance to smash it with his tuba case.

Later, Reiss revealed that he still had the pillow used to smother Debbie, and warned Bianca that if she handed it over to the police, Sonia would be released quickly, as his fingerprints would be all over it. He proposed a deal: Bianca would retrieve the pillow, take it to the police to free Sonia, and Reiss would then go on the run.

The two then arrived at Reiss’ storage unit. Inside, Bianca was shocked by the soundproofed walls, which Reiss explained were to stop people hearing him play the tuba. But it became clear that he had a far darker use for the space.

When Reiss revealed that the pillow wasn’t in the unit, Bianca grew anxious. She pulled out a hidden candlestick from her jacket as she watched him lock the door. Reiss then grabbed a blanket and a metal object.

The episode ended with Reiss lifting the blanket, and Bianca screaming.

Could this mean he has killed again?
