Usually, the BBC soap opera EastEnders airs on Fridays, but this Friday, February 9, the show will air its last episode of the week.
This is because there was a scheduling change this week, which prevented the soap opera from airing on Tuesday, February 6.
Here are the things you can anticipate from the most recent episode of EastEnders, which airs tonight instead.
EastEnders airs tonight in a schedule shakeup
On Monday through Thursday nights, EastEnders typically airs four half-hour episodes every week.
But because Match of the Day Live was airing on Tuesday instead of the soap opera, it was unable to air.
Leeds United and Plymouth Argyle squared off in this match, which got underway at 7:45 p.m.
EastEnders, which airs at 7.30 p.m., did not air its regularly scheduled episode on Tuesday. Instead, tonight will mark the soap opera’s final episode of the week.
This episode has been available on BBC iPlayer since yesterday (Thursday, February 8), but it will air at 7.30–8:00 p.m.
What to expect from EastEnders tonight
In this evening’s EastEnders episode, Linda informs Elaine that she has given up drinking; however, Lauren catches her concealing a bag of alcohol from the Minute Mart.
Then, as Annie tries to hide her wine from Kathy, Lauren takes her away from Linda for a bit. But soon after, the two begin to argue with one another.
Since Kathy and Lauren are telling Linda to get sober, Ben tries to separate the two women. But Linda doesn’t think this advice is helpful, so she goes to The Albert.
In another scene, Kat starts arguing with Priya, which makes her miserable. Kat is furious to learn that Tommy has moved in with Phil. Can she and Phil, though, get back on speaking terms?
Arguments also break out between Cindy and Ian after she confides in them following her altercation with George. Will she ever be able to make amends with her former partner?
